Respa Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 20, 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy explains how Zansors LLC ("Zansors", "we", "us") handles information in the Respa Mindfulness and Respa Readiness apps (the "Apps"), with the Respa sensor, and on the websites that link to this policy.

1. How you use the Apps. In this version of the Apps, you use them through an organization that invited you, such as an employer, department or program. There are no personal accounts or purchases yet. If we add them, we'll update this policy before they're available.

2. Information that stays on your phone.

  • Sessions. Each completed session is saved on your phone: the breathing pattern and level, length, start and end time, your scores (Breath Match, Stillness, Posture Change), breath count, signal quality, the before-and-after feelings check-in if you answer it, and any journal note you add. A scored session also keeps the breathing and movement signal from the sensor so its graphs can be shown again.
  • Sensor details. Your sensor's name and firmware version are saved with each session.
  • Organization profile. The organization you joined, and its group if it has groups, are saved on your phone.
  • Preferences, such as sound and theme settings.

The sensor talks to the App over Bluetooth on your phone. None of this leaves your phone, and your organization can't see it: not your sessions, scores, feelings check-ins, journal notes or breathing data.

3. Anonymous usage counts. The Apps send anonymous counts of how they're used to Trackless Telemetry, a privacy-first analytics service. For example: how many times the App is opened, which setup steps are completed, each completed session's type, length and the hour it ended, which options are chosen, how long the breath analysis takes on the phone, and error counts, with coarse context such as the platform and OS version, the App and sensor software versions, and settings like text size. The counts are grouped by organization and group. They carry no names, email addresses, or user or device identifiers, and no scores, feelings check-ins, journal notes or breathing data, so they can't be linked to you.

4. What you choose to share. If you use the Share button on a session's results, what you share goes only where you send it.

5. Our websites. Our websites, including the pages that open invite links, use Trackless Telemetry for the same kind of anonymous counts. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the sites. If you sign up for our mailing list, we use your email address only to send you Respa news, through our email service provider, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

6. How we use information. To provide and improve the Apps and websites, to answer your questions, and, only if you signed up, to send you Respa news. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

7. Who we share information with. We share information only with service providers that handle it for us — Trackless (anonymous counts), Amazon Web Services (website hosting), our email service provider (the mailing list), and Apple and Google (app distribution) — and when the law requires it. Your organization doesn't receive your sessions or scores through the Apps.

8. How long information is kept. Information on your phone stays until you delete it. You can delete a session in the App; when you leave an organization, the App asks whether to delete this phone's history or keep it; and deleting the App deletes everything it stored. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.

9. Children. We don't knowingly collect information from children. Organizations that let members under 18 use the Apps are responsible for their own consent arrangements. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security. Information on your phone is protected by your phone's own security, such as your passcode. Our websites are served over encrypted connections. No method is perfectly secure.

11. Changes to this policy. If our practices change, we'll update this policy and its "Last Updated" date. For a material change we'll tell you in the Apps before it takes effect.
